New skate and basketball area coming to Rushcutters Bay

Woollahra Council is building a youth recreation area at Rushcutters Bay Park, due to open this spring. It's aimed at the 8 to 14 age group — scooter and skate area, basketball hoop, netball ring, the works. Good news if you've got a tween who's outgrown the playground but isn't into organised sport.
