NSW wants to cut local DA notification rights

The state government is proposing to scrap council-level community participation plans in favour of a single statewide approach, and Woollahra's mayor isn't happy about it. The big concern: residential flat buildings, shop top housing, and school alterations could be approved without any public notification if they meet planning controls. Feedback is open on the NSW Planning Portal until 3 June, so worth having your say.
