What we collect
When you subscribe, we collect your email address, first name, and suburb. Optionally, you may provide your gender, birth year, whether you have kids, and interests. We also automatically collect your signup source URL and UTM parameters.
Why we collect it
We use your data solely to send you the Suburb Collective newsletter for your area and to personalise its content based on your suburb and preferences. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Where it's stored
Subscriber data is stored in Supabase (database hosted in Australia or Singapore) and Resend (email service, US-based). By subscribing, you consent to your data being processed by these services.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. To request access, correction or deletion, email hello@suburbcollective.com.
Cookies and analytics
We use PostHog to understand how people use this website. This collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, clicks). No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.
